Koenigsegg's Agera RS – The World’s Fastest Hypercar

The car assembled to set records, Koenigsegg’s Agera Rs was able to reach many new records in sports history.

Seven-speed automatic coupe, an advanced version of Agera R, is powered by a 5.8lt V8 engine plays an average speed of 447.2kmph (277.9mph) in racetracks and 457.94kmph (284.55mph) speed in a straight line.

This Swedish beauty has set five new records, throwing its rivals off the track, for some time. It was accepted unofficially, in November 2017 as the world’s fastest car. The story of the record goes like this;

It was in October 2017 Koenigsegg's Agera RS set its first record beating Bugatti Chitorn by eight seconds. 1,360bhp hypercar was able to leap from zero to 249mph with mere 36.44seconds – just a fraction over a half a minute’s time. Then it reached within 33.29 seconds to the same level of speed over the weekend.

Believe it or not this marvel has record a 9.96second to cover a quarter a mile. The car was able to sprint from zero to 249mph within 24 seconds and come back to zero across a 0.31 miles in 9.96seconds. is there any other to compete that?

The Koenigsegg's Agera RS hit 284.55mph, in North Westerly run; the uphill run was recorded with a 271.9mph.

All those are records made in racetracks. One of my friends suggested knowing how those hyper vrooms will perform in public roads. According to the reports Koenigsegg's Agera RS was able to face the challenge and recorded a 276.9mph on Autobahn, and it was the recorded highest speed on a public road.

  3. 2019 McLaren P16: The latest of McLaren will feature an aerodynamic design and spider doors, plus a 640 horsepower boost that can go from 0 to 60 in just 3 seconds flat. Classically, it looks like yet another car that belongs in a James Bond movie.
  4. 2019 Bugatti Chiron: The Bugatti Chiron is officially the fastest car in the world right now, with an engine that produces 1500 horsepower, taking it up to 288 miles per hour. This new release is not for the faint of heart.

Nissan GTR R35 Vs Honda NSX

The Nissan GTR-R35 and Honda NSX are both Japanese supercars, heirs to iconic heritage. They both feature turbocharged V6 petrol engines with 570 plus bhp, have all-wheel drive, hit 62mph in the low threes and register top speeds in the 190s.

Despite being a two-seater to the GT-R’s 2+2, the NSX is a smidge heavier. The two supercars have highly sophisticated computer architectures, which are designed to make you look like a better driver than you really are. So it feels right to have a discussion about how these two compare, if at any other level than the bald stats.

Nissan GTR-R35

The Nissan GTR-R35 is ranked as one of the most top-performing production supercars. With its front-engine, all-wheel-drive layout, it provides immense capability and accessible performance, and it's pretty much a first class.

We (Classic Parade UK) gave it a 7.4 overall based on its remarkable performance and with its great features. The styling and comfort is on par with many other supercars. It doesn't need any addition when it comes to performance, not with a sub-three-second run to 60 mph and a top end over 200 mph.

Styling and Performance

Very few cars come close to the Nissan GTR-R35 brilliant all-wheel-drive handling or its 0-60 mph times in three seconds. It delivers a blistering acceleration, hooking up perfectly with the traction from the GTR brainy all-wheel-drive system. A rigid body structure, special springs and custom developed dampers help balance ride with track-ready handling. The Nissan GTR-R35 also provides many drive modes, including a Race mode to tune the driving character to the conditions.

Honda NSX

The NSX is not lairy enough externally to be classified as a ‘proper’ supercar. The interior is a bit practical and Honda-rise to get too excited. There are three electric motors that offer instant torque assistance to the turbocharged petrol V6 (one 36bhp spool of spiny wire for each front wheel, one for the rear axle). It finesses traction much, much better than the GT-R from the moment you step into it.

There is 476lb ft on tap, which doesn’t sound like much, until you figure out how that torque is delivered - it feels instant, metered and full - from any engine speed. It’s very easy to drive, without the slight hunt and shunt you can get from the GT-R’s six-speed gearbox. The vision is pretty good for a mid-engine car and almost as good as the much more upright Nissan. On the road it also rides noticeably better than the newly comfy GT-R.

Which is better?

Neither. Both. They are completely different and entirely, remarkably similar. One with a four-seat, big boot, front-engine coupe and the other a two-seat, mid-engine hybrid with the carrying capacity of a trouser pocket. But they both deliver in such a way that makes them almost identical.

The Nissan GTR R35 and the Honda NSX are both supercars that represent the unique Japanese way of doing things that makes them brilliant. Both supercars make the car people happy. And that’s something to celebrate.

Do you want to have a wonderful driving experience in these two supercars? Call on Classic Parade UK. Classic Parade is a UK car rental company where these cars could be hired from and they also offer doorstep delivery services.

Occasions to Hire a Supercar

There are those special times in life when it’s appropriate to consider hiring or renting something more than a bus or regular vehicle. When these life-changing events happen to us, we want them to be remembered for the nuance and the detail; the extra support that everyone else took note of from start to finish.

Regarded as the top of the line in the world of cars, even more powerful than the sports car, is the supercar. With a minimum of 500 horsepower, flexibility, and an appearance that has been hand crafted and designed by a team for months on end, that’s where the supercar comes into the picture.

If you’re considering adding the power, prowess, and timeliness of a supercar to your next occasion, here are a few instances in which hiring a supercar is totally acceptable:

  1. Weddings: Whether it’s for the groom to arrive at the altar, the newly wed couple to drive off into the sunset, or even the bride to make an entrance that no one will ever forget, consider adding a supercar to your wedding. Not every supercar has the sporty appearance, with plenty of options by McLaren coming with a more “time-old” country feel.
  2. Anniversaries: Do you want to surprise your sweetheart with something special on your anniversary? Take her through the British or Italian countryside in a rented supercar, whipping around the turns of the world’s most famous highways and scenic byways. Show off your driving skill and impress the love of your life.
  3. Business Opening: Are you expanding a business, opening a new one, or introducing your concept to the public? Supercars are an awesome way to add a level of luxury and importance to any event. Bystanders will take notice, especially if you choose to make an entrance from one of the many supercars shaking the market today.

And the list goes on. Whether it’s for a big client or company win, a bar mitzvah or sweet 16, or just simply treating yourself to a holiday retreat after a long year of hard work, there is always an occasion that calls for the grandeur of a supercar.

Characteristics of Supercars: What Defines a Supercar?

We often hear the terms: sports car, super car, and luxury car thrown around interchangeably today. Have you ever stopped to ponder what the difference in terminology means, and what the term supercar really refers to today? It’s a powerful title, which is why we’re going to look at the powerful characteristics that back up a supercar.

As Jeff Glucker, CEO of Hooniverse, put it: “Supercars are mystic creatures that stalk empty back roads where they can’t be bothered by lesser machines. They inhabit our hearts, our minds… and the posters of the walls belonging to our younger selves.”

The Horsepower

A supercar presents a level of performance that is enough to scare the wits out of most people. Typically coming in at a base of 500 horsepower, supercars are one step above sports cars, with even more power and engine to make the feeling of driving one potentially overwhelming at first.

Focused on performance, supercars are less “usable” and more special than a sports car, although some of the latest supercar models, like the McLaren 720S, is something you could argue works as an everyday vehicle.

The majority of supercars are mid-engined, with only the Corvette and Viper coming in with a model that is a manual transmission. Rear and four-wheel driven, no supercar is ever equipped with front wheel drive.

The Classic Style

As me mentioned, designed more so for performance and appearance, supercars excel in the display of their bodies, accessories, and colorful designs, making them truly pieces of art if observed closely or from afar. They are meant to turn heads on the road, or shine like a beautiful trophy in a collector’s facility, with small batch production making them truly collectible items.

That’s why we take such pride in providing you with access to the best cars on the road. In a world of hyper cars, sports cars, and supercars, the indisputable winner is the supercar. Have you driven one yet?
