You can’t beat a bit of american muscle. The car is a lot wider than you’d expect for UK roads, but the noise – WOW.
Lovely car, when I drove it I just imagined I was on Hawaii 5-0. Book em Danno!
I hired the LC a couple weeks ago, and I must say, it was quite the experience. It was a fun ride to work that day would put a big smile on my face.
Lexus has done a great job with this car!
Lovely little electric coupe this – it makes an interesting noise thanks to the fake-ish sound BMW pump through the speakers, but it handles beautifully around the corners. A nice change though, and helping to save the planet one car at a time.
This is the perfect car – it’s faster than a number of M3s, but substantially cheaper. Classic Parade rented me theirs for a week while my Audi was in for some repairs, now I don’t want to pick it back up. Very comfy, tonnes of tech and the B58 engine is a peach!
We rented the 1.5 diesel for a holiday in Ireland and it was the highlight of my trip as it was so lovely to drive and Nippy once in 2nd gear. I was used to driving a low sports car so this was a big change for me. So much so that when I cam back to the UK I went straight the Dealer and ordered a New One! They recommended that I go for a petrol engine as I do lots of short journeys so I chose the 1.2 and cant believe how fast it goes.
Driving the LFA well takes some getting used to, and more time than I had. You have to learn its quirks before you can really master what it’s capable of. I didn’t even come close to scratching the surface of what it can do on the street, nor would I want to. Track time in one is now at the top of my bucket list.
The LFA is an amazing, fascinating machine. Rare as it is, misunderstood as it is, in spite of whatever flaws it may have, it will easily stand the test of time as one of the greatest supercars ever built by anyone — badging be damned.
Excellent Car, Good handling and quite quick! good. Perfect family car comfortably fits 4 passengers. Achieved MPG 40 over the weekend. More hi-tech features than its Porsche rival. Its eye catching design is hard to miss out.Its sleek and stylish throughout the vehicle
Very comfortable, good adjustable height and rake seats, heated seats, good towing vehicle, pulls trailer complete with 2 horses and various tack and accessories needed effortlessly, and pretty good on mpg when towing. Carries 7 passengers with ease and when only up to 5 passengers plenty of room in boot for lots of luggage or 2 dogs (one is a Great Dane)
An absolute belter of a hot hatch! It sounds simply incredible – a step up from the Golf R I had last month. I liked it so much i’ve just put in an order for one 🙂
The performance exhaust is a must have and the soundtrack on this little hatchback is fantastic – pops, crackles and bangs on full load with no drone when cruising at motorway speeds. The handling is sharp and lively although the ride is harsh when you’re simply ferrying family around and not gunning down Porsches. Fuel economy is great for the performance – I’ve easily hit 40+ mpg on dull drives and on spirited drives it only drops to about 23 mpg which, for the performance, is great. The gearbox is great when rushing through the gears but can be slow and hesitant at slow city speeds – the huge twin scroll turbo can be a bit laggy when pulling away from roundabouts with 1/4 throttle but when you mash your right foot down, the pick up is fantastic. The performance is ballistic and it handles 4 adults with ease. The brakes are confidence inspiring and the level of grip is really good. As always, the 19″ alloy option looks better but the 18″ wheel gives a better ride. The info screen looks like an afterthought but the AMG sports seats and carbon weave interior looks really good.
